        بدء علينا أن نشير إلى إنه في ظل الانتشار الواسع لاستخدام الإنترنت فتعد الطلاب من أكثر استخدام له حيث نجد إنه يؤثر من خلال محتوياته ومضمونه على أفكار الطلاب، ونظرا لأهمية المرحلة المتوسطة فنجد إن الحاجه إلى الموجه الطلابي من الأمور التي لا غنى عنها في أي مرحلة تعليمية نظرا للظروف والتغيرات التي نشاهدها حيث نجد إنه هو الذي يساعدهم على تقبل التغيرات وبالتالي حل المشكلات التي تواجههم علاوة على بناء وتطوير شخصياتهم التي لابد وأن تكون أفضل في المستقبل، ويعتبر التوجيه والإرشاد الطلابي من الأمور التي يقوم فيها الموجه الطلابي بمجموعة من المهام والأدوار التي تيسر على الطلاب الاستفادة من الخدمات وبالتالي الأنشطة الاجتماعية المتنوعة كما يساعدهم على تجاوز ما يتعارض مهم في مواجهة آثار الإنترنت السلبية عليهم سواء في المدرسة أو خارجها.
