الملخص:
      يعتبر الشباب في اي مجتمع هم وقوده وطاقته المتحركة فهي المرحلة التي يكتمل فيها النضج الجسمي والعقلي للانسان حتى يكون عضوا فاعلاً  في المجتمع وقادراً على العطاء ومن الملاحظ في ضوء الاحصاءات المتاحة ازدياد نسبة الشباب بالنسبة لعدد السكان في العديد من المجتمعات المتقدمة والنامية ومن المتوقع ازدياد هذه النسبة خلال العشر سنوات القادمة وهم في الحقيقة سلاح ذو حدين حيث يعاني شبابنا في الآونة الاخيرة كثيراً من الضغوط والمشكلات التي يمكن أ ن تؤثر على مفهوم لمعنى الحياة وهذا بدوره ينعكس سلباً على مستوى نجاحهم في الحياة.
وبصفة خاصة بعد ما زاد اعتماد الشباب الجامعي على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي نتيجة للجذب التي توفره هذه الوسائل والحرية الكاملة التي تتيحها لهم وتسليتهم وقضاء وقت طويل ممتع لهم دون الافصاح عن شخصية الشباب وبالتالي يوجد جانبين لاستخدام وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي أحدهما سلبي والآخر ايجابي ولكن بعض الشباب يحاول استغلالها بطريقة سلبية وهذا قد يؤدي لانتشار مشكلة التنمر الالكتروني ووقوف الكثير من الشباب ضحايا لهذا التنمر وخاصة أن الشخص الذي يقوم بعملية التمر قد يستخدم الكثير من الاساليب الخداعية والوهمية والطرق الآخرى التي توقع الشباب ضحية لعملية التنمر الالكتروني والتي تشعرهم بالمتعة ويعبرون من خلالها عن عوالم افتراضية وهذا ما أتاح لهم الفرص للعدوان والتحرش بأقرانهم بصور متعددة ومتنوعة من خلال الهواتف المحمولة أو الرسائل الالكترونية عبر غرف الدردشة أو الابتزاز بالصور أو تبادل الشتائم والذي يزيد من خطورة المشكلة تحول الكثير من الضحايا نتيجة للضغوط التي يتعرضون لها إلى متنمرين كوسيلة للانتقام ليس فقط مع الاشخاص الذين يهددونهم ولكن أيضاً مع أي شخص يصادفهم كوسيلة تعويضية عما حدث لهم.

Especially after university youth dependence on social media has increased as a result of the attraction provided by these means and the complete freedom they provide, entertaining them, and spending a long time for them without disclosing the personality of the youth. Thus, there are two sides to the use of social media, one negative and the other positive, but some young people try to exploit it. In a negative way, this may lead to the spread of the problem of cyberbullying and many young people become victims of this bullying, especially since the person who carries out the process of dating may use a lot of deceptive and deceptive methods and other methods that make young people a victim of cyberbullying, which makes them feel pleasure and express through them virtual worlds, and this is what It provided them with opportunities for aggression and harassment of their peers in various and varied ways through mobile phones or e-mails via chat rooms, blackmail with pictures, or exchanging insults, which increases the seriousness of the problem. Many victims, as a result of the pressures they are exposed to, turn into bullies as a means of revenge, not only with the people who threaten them, but also Also with anyone they come across as a way of making up for what happened to them.​
