ملخص باللغة العربية:
هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على مدى مساهمة بيوت منتصف الطريق في خدمة المتعافين من التعاطي. وقد استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي المسحي وأداة الإستبانة.  وتكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع أخصائي الخدمة الاجتماعية الطبية العاملين في بيوت منتصف الطريق وعددهم ( 67 )، ونزلاء البيوت ويبلغ عددهم (383 ) أي يبلغ حجم مجتمع الدراسة الإجمالي (450) فرد. واختيرت عينة الدراسة بطريقة المسح الشامل (الطريقة القصدية) وتحددت عينة الدراسة في كل مجتمع الدراسة البالغ عدده 450 فرد استجاب منهم (372) فرد. وقامت الباحثة بتصميم استبانة إلكترونية لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة. وقد تم إدخال البيانات إلى جهاز الحاسب الآلي وباستخدام البرنامج الإحصائي SPSS تم تحليل النتائج. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى نتائج هامة ومنها: ان عبارات الأساليب العلاجية التي يمكن لمراكز التأهيل أن يمارسوها مع العائد من الإدمان (المتعافي)، جاءت في مستوى "موافق بشدة" من وجهة نظر عينة الدراسة بمتوسط حسابي (3.96) . إن هناك تفاوتا في استجابات أفراد عينة الدِّراسة على عبارات الصعوبات التي  يواجهها المتعافي من الإدمان والتي تكون سببا في حوث الانتكاسة. حيث تراوحت المتوسِّطات ما بين (4.26 إلى 4.66 من 5) وهي متوسِّطات تقع ضمن الفئة الخامسة من فئات مقياس ليكرت الخماسي وتشير إلى درجة (مرتفعة) على التوالي. ان عبارات دور الخدمة الاجتماعية الطبية من خلال برامج التأهيل والرعاية بالمملكة مع جماعات التعافي من الإدمان بالمملكة العربية السعودية، جاءت في مستوى "موافق بشدة" من وجهة نظر عينة الدراسة بمتوسط حسابي (4.37)، وقد تراوحت المتوسطات الحسابية لدرجة الموافقة على توافر العبارات من (4.29) إلى (4.45)، أي أن العبارات جاءت درجة الموافقة على توافرها جميعا في مستوى "موافق بشدة".  ومن التوصيات التي وضعتها الدراسة:   يجب أن توفر بيوت منتصف الطريق بيئة داعمة وآمنة للمتعافين ، وأن يكون هناك فريق محترف مؤهل ومدرب لتقديم الرعاية والدعم اللازم.  وينبغي أن يتم توجيه المتعافين ومتابعتهم بشكل مستمر بعد انتهاء فترة الإقامة في بيت منتصف الطريق.

The study aimed to identify the extent to which halfway houses contribute to serving those recovering from drug addiction. The study used the descriptive survey method and the questionnaire tool. The study population consisted of all medical social service specialists working in halfway houses, numbering (67), and residents of the homes, numbering (383), meaning the total size of the study population was (450) individuals. The study sample was chosen using a comprehensive survey method (purposive method), and the study sample was determined in the entire study population, which numbered 450 individuals, of whom (372) individuals responded. The researcher designed an electronic questionnaire to achieve the objectives of the study. The data was entered into a computer and the results were analyzed using the SPSS statistical program. The study reached important results, including: The statements of the therapeutic methods that rehabilitation centers can practice with those recovering from addiction came at the level of “strongly agree” from the point of view of the study sample, with an arithmetic average of (3.96). There is a discrepancy in the responses of the study sample members to statements about the difficulties faced by those recovering from addiction, which are the cause of relapse. The averages ranged between (4.26 to 4.66 out of 5), which are averages that fall within the fifth category of the five-point Likert scale and indicate a (high) degree, respectively. The statements about the role of medical social service through rehabilitation and care programs in the Kingdom with addiction recovery groups in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia came at the level of “strongly agree” from the point of view of the study sample with an arithmetic average of (4.37). The arithmetic averages for the degree of agreement with the availability of the statements ranged from ( 4.29) to (4.45), meaning that the degree of agreement for all of the statements was at the level of “strongly agree.” Among the recommendations developed by the study: halfway houses must provide a supportive and safe environment for those recovering, and there must be a qualified and trained professional team to provide the necessary care and support. The recovered persons should be guided and followed up continuously after the end of the period of stay in the halfway house.
