أن النقابات من المؤسسات الاجتماعية، التي تلعب دوراً مهماً وأساسياً في الدفاع عن حقوق الأعضاء والمستخدمين وتحسين ظروف حياتهم، وأصبح لها اليوم دوراً أكبر في حياة مجتمعاتها على المستويات الاجتماعية والاقتصادية والسياسية فالأمن والرغيف وتلبية مستلزمات الحياة الهانئة أصبحت قضايا مترابطة، والدفاع عن إحداها يعني الدفاع عنها بالإجمال، وأن الدور الذي تلعبه النقابات يرتبط أشد الارتباط بالنظام السياسي السائد وبحجم الحريات الديمقراطية والنقابية المتوفرة، ولعل هذا الدور الذي تلعبه النقابات في حياة الفرد والمجتمع هو ما دفع المجتمع الدولي إلى تبني الحق في قيامها وذلك من أجل تحسين ظروف المعيشة للمواطن وتعزيز الحياة الديمقراطية.

Abstract:
Unions are social institutions that play an important and fundamental role in defending the rights of members and employees and improving their living conditions. Today, they have a greater role in the life of their societies at the social, economic, and political levels. Security, bread, and meeting the necessities of a comfortable life have become interconnected issues, and defending one of them means defending it. In general, the role that unions play is closely linked to the prevailing political system and the extent of available democratic and union freedoms. Perhaps this role that unions play in the life of the individual and society is what prompted the international community to adopt the right to establish them in order to improve the living conditions of citizens and enhance democratic life.
