معوقات عمل الأخصائي الاجتماعي عند تقديم الدعم التلطيفي لمرضى السرطان وتصور مقترح

ملخص الدراسة:
يقع على عاتق الأخصائي الاجتماعي في المجال الطبي عبء كبير في التعامل مع مرضى السرطان ومساعدتهم على تجاوز الآثار الناتجة عن المرض، مما يتوجب معه تمتعه بقدر عال من المهنية في التعامل مع هذه الفئة من خلال بناء الثقة بينه وبين المريض حتى يتمكن من مساعدته على الشفاء وتخفيف حدة المشكلات النفسية والاجتماعية التي تواجه هذه الفئة من المرضى. كما أنه يدرك ويراعي قيمة وأهمية مختلف التعبيرات التي يعبرون بها عن النواحي الروحية بما يدعم التوصل إلى حلول خلاقة للمشكلات الحياتية التي تواجههم مع الوصول إلى الموارد وفق حاجة المريض. إلا أنه أثناء عمله في تقديم الدعم التلطيفي لهذه الفئة بأقسام الدعم التلطيفي بالمجال الطبي، فإنه تواجهه العديد من المعوقات، بعضها مرتبط بشخصية الأخصائي الاجتماعي، وبعضها مرتبط ببيئة العمل، وبعضها مرتبط بالمريض وأسرته. وقد جاءت هذه الدراسة لمعرفة تلك المعوقات، ووضع تصور مقترح للتعامل معها في ضوء منظور القوى في العلاج الاجتماعي، حيث إن هذا المنظور مرتبط بالمدخل الأيكولوجي، وله مميزات كبيرة تساعد في تمكين الأخصائي الاجتماعي في مواجهة هذه المشكلات.
وتنتمي هذه الدراسة إلى الدراسات الوصفية، وقد استخدمت منهج المسح الاجتماعي للعينة، حيث طبقت الدراسة على الأخصائيين الاجتماعيين العاملين بأقسام الدعم التلطيفي بمستشفيات مدينة الرياض، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن هناك العديد من المعوقات التي تعوق أداء عمل الأخصائي الاجتماعي مع مرضى السرطان. وقد تم وضع تصور مقترح للتعامل مع هذه المعوقات في ضوء منظور القوى لتمكين الأخصائي الاجتماعي من التعامل معها. وقد تم تطبيق تلك الدراسة في الفترة من 1/4/2023 حتى 20/5/2023 .
Abstract:
The social worker in the medical field has a great burden in dealing with cancer patients and helping them overcome the effects of the disease, which requires him to have a high degree of professionalism in dealing with this group by building trust between him and the patient so that he can help him recover and alleviate the psychological and social problems facing this category of patients. He also recognizes and takes into account the value and importance of the various expressions through which the patients express spiritual aspects in order to support creative solutions to the life problems facing them, with the ability to access resources according to the patient’s needs. However, while working in providing palliative support to this category in the palliative support departments in the medical field, the social worker faces many obstacles, some related to the personality of the social worker, some related to the work environment, and some related to the patient and his family. This study aimed to identify these obstacles, and to develop a proposed conception to deal with them in light of strengths perspective in social therapy, as this perspective is linked to the ecological approach, and has great advantages that help empower the social worker in facing these problems.
This study belongs to the descriptive studies, it has used the social survey methodology of the sample, where the study was applied to social workers working in palliative support departments in hospitals in Riyadh. The study concluded that there are many obstacles that hinder the performance of the social worker with cancer patients. A proposed conception has been developed to deal with these obstacles in light of the strengths perspective to enable the social worker to deal with them. This study was applied from  1/4/2023  until  20/5/2023.
