التحديات التي تواجه طلبة تخصص العمل الاجتماعي في السنة الدراسية الأولى : كلية الأميرة رحمة الجامعية أنموذجاً

 
ملخص
هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى التحديات التي تواجه طلبة السنة الأولى في تخصص العمل الاجتماعي في جامعة البلقاء التطبيقية (كلية الأميرة رحمة الجامعية أنموذجا) وفيما اذا كانت هذه التحديات تختلف باختلاف جنس الطالب، ومعدله بالثانوية، ومكان سكنه، وعمله. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة، تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي لملاءمته لأغراض الدراسة، حيث تم تطوير أداه لجمع البيانات تألفت من ثلاثة أبعاد. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (111) طالباً وطالبة مسجلين في قسم العمل الاجتماعي في كلية الأميرة رحمة الجامعية بطريقة الحصر الشامل. أشارت نتائج التحليل الاحصائي الى أن التحديات التي تواجه طلبة السنة الأولى في تخصص العمل الاجتماعي في جامعة البلقاء التطبيقية؛ هي التحديات التعليمية والأكاديمية متمثلة في مواجهة الطلبة صعوبات في استخدام المنصات التعليمية ومن أبرزها الانقطاع في شبكة الإنترنت ومشاكل في التيار الكهربائي، وعدم توفر مركز تدريبي للعمل الاجتماعي في الجامعة. أما التحديات النفسية والاجتماعية، تمثلت في القيم المجتمعية التي تعطي بعض التخصصات مكانة وألقاب لم تعطى للتخصص، إضافة إلى تخوف طلبة السنة الأولى من عدم العثور على فرصة عمل بعد التخرج. وبالنسبة للتحديات السياسية والاقتصادية، فقد تمثلت في ارتفاع نسبة البطالة بين خريجي التخصص، وتدني أجور العاملين في قطاع العمل الاجتماعي. وبينما أظهرت نتائج الدراسة وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية للتحديات التعليمية والأكاديمية تبعا لمتغير الجنس لصالح الذكور، لم تبين وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية للتحديات النفسية والاجتماعية والسياسية والاقتصادية تبعا لمتغير الجنس. وقدم المشاركون في الدراسة عدد من المقترحات للتغلب على هذه التحديات، من أبرزها: العمل على تأسيس مركز متخصص داخل الجامعة لتدريب الطلاب، وعمل برامج تحث الطلبة على الإنخراط في الجمعيات الطلابية وإتحادات الطلبة.

Challenges Facing First-Year Social Work Students at Al-Balqa' Applied University (Princess Rahma University College as a Model)
ABSTRACT
The study aimed at identifying the challenges that faced first-year students who were studying social work at Al-Balqa Applied University (Princess Rahma University College as a model), and whether there were differences according to student’s gender, high school score, place of residence, and work. Descriptive approach was used it was suitable for the study objectives. An instrument was developed that entails three dimensions to collect the data. The study sample consisted of (111) male and female students who were involved in the Department of Social Service at Princess Rahma University College - Al-Balqa Applied University. Results revealed that the challenges facing first-year social work students were educational and academic. Students face difficulties in e-learning, most notably weak internet connections, power outages, and the lack of a social work training center at the university. While psychological and social challenges include societal customs and traditions that give certain majors status and titles, such as "engineer" and "doctor," which are not given to the social work major. The students were concerned about finding a job after graduation. Political and economic challenges included high unemployment rate among social work specialists and the low wages of social work workers. While there were statistically significant differences in educational and academic challenges according to the gender variable in favor of males, there were no statistically significant differences in psychological, social, political, and economic challenges according to the gender variable. The participants provided a number of suggestions to overcome the challenges; these included establishing a special center inside the university to train the students and setup programs to encourage students to get involved in students’ unions and associations.
